nothing i've ever seen to do with rx7's or rotaries.....or any automobile. material looks like nylon. we use it where i work but in sheet form.

Aftermarket intercooler mounts? I could see the bolts going into a bracket, and the cutouts hold offshoots on both sides. Dunno, just speculating.

I have never seen anything like that on an RX-7 of any generation. I would say they are custom made or a universal aftermarket part for another vehicle or vehicles.
