Exclamation WELL...i have a serious PROBLEM now

so i'm cruisin down the road and my check engine light comes on. then my car starts to lose power, like it didn't want to got pass 50mph. i get to where im going and go to park, hit reverse and my car stalls...its an auto....WTF? i turn it off than back on hit reverse again same thing happens. then my car doesnt even crank. i let it sit for about 5 mins, i turn it on and it starts, but the rpms are relatively LOW. So i start again i shift and rpms get low and then it cutsoff. Then i shift it to nuetral crank it up and its ok--but rpms are still pretty weak. so i turn it off and leave it, come back an hour later and start the car its fine RPMS kinda low but its fine, so I RUSH straight to autozone---

the person i bought it from said that it needs a new mass air flow sensor- AIR FLOW METER' i wanted to know from the rotoary crowd if that is most likely the problem? and it happens only like if im driving for 3hrs then the check engine light goes on and so fourth.

You need to decipher the error codes and that will point you in the direction of that problem at least. Get a copy of the factory service manual at:
http://foxed.ca/foxed/index.php?page=rx7manual.

And do a search of the forum on how to read the blink codes to determine the codes. I'll see if I can find a link for you. Here ya go:
