I just replaced my A/c compressor because it was broken and I was moving down to az. It worked well for about a month but all of sudden when I hit the A/c button the compressor does not engage and THE RADIO TURNS OFF. I drove across country with both radio and AC (VA TO AZ). What the hell is going on? I have a power Fc and it does not aknoweldge the A/c on in either position. So where should I start, I have already taken apart the dash looking for short circuits.

 

it also affects the cigarette lighter when pushed in causes the radio to turn off and the idle to get erractic. Is this a grounding issue, a loose wire and the POWER FC, a relay or a fuse? I am lost and dont know where to start. PLEASE someone lead me in the right direction. its 115 down in AZ and I need the ac to work.
