is the Rx-7 (86-91) really 2700lbs? thats kinda insane its really heavy, does anyone know the weight of the hood and hoe much a CF (carbon fiber) hood weighs, and any places that sell otehr CF peices for the FC??

 

2700Lbs is not heavy.

There are 2 flavors of stock FC hood, steel and aluminium, I think the weights for both are in the FAQ.

 

Run on down to your local truck stop and put it on the scale. should be less than $10. The CAT brand scales are wicked acurate.

 

I replace my hood with a CF one and the CF is way light. i carried it with one hand. felt wierd as **** cuz i was expecting a lil more lol
