NV water temp gauge

does anyone make a water temp gauge that has a magnetic sender that just sticks to the outside of the hottest part of the motor?
my gauges went out and its a major operation to fix and too much money. (man it was hard to find how to post this)

to make the gauges work again you have to open the dash board....tooo much work for me and too expensive at the sinclair at flamingo and maryland (they are crooks) so i figure just stick a temp sender to the motor and mount th gauge inside...and use an aircraft airspeed indicator for speedometer which is easy to do (see aircraft spruce under instruments)...those crooks at sinclair got me for over 500 bucks fixing my 90 caddy coupe deville(now for sale at $300) (wcd207@gmail.com) it now needs brakes and plugs.
(or maybe just plugs as the brakes are hard to push down (power) so maybe the compression is low.....
.all gauges on dodge suddenly went out after a wand wash on tropicana and maryland.and the digital odometer displays but doesnt advance anymore....i can see a white wire that is not connected to anything dangling on top of the little 4 banger......since i only paid 900 smackers for this stratus i cant see paying 500 to fix gauges.
there is supposed to be a printed circuit board inside the dash that could be bad...but the test (turn key off push in trip button and hold while turning key on) makes all guages weep.....meaning the circuit board is o.k. i think it is some kind of fuse problem but where the heck would that fuse be i didnt get an owners manual.
modern cars with the computers and electronics are really a big pain ! next car will be a n old vw bug with a rebuilt 1600 cc..had a couple of them..never never had a problem...stupid to trade them in !!!!
But thanks Bill

....why not go ask at a "96 dodge stratus 4cyl stick 2 liter put put" forum instead of the RX7 forum?
