Vibration in rear end when turning

Hi everyone,

Just bought my second RX7 1996 and am worrying a bit about a vibration I am getting in the rear end only while turning left at speeds of 20km or faster. It seems to be coming from the right hand side, feels similar to a flat tire or having only one wheel nut on but its neither of these. Wheel bearings also seem fine.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

thanks

MI

I saw that happen on a crown vic and it ended up being a clutch plate in the lsd. Hows the diff fluid look/smell?

The FD uses a Torsen not an LSD diff. Doubtful that it is anything related to the diff but you never know.

Jack the car up and pulling on the wheels to see if anything is loose. Then try checking the hubs/bearings to see if they are tight. Also check that the PPF is not cracked.

Remember to support the car properly on jack stands.
