Vertical Scratches in the Rotor Housing.

I am on the final stages of my 13b rebuild, essentially putting it together, laying plates on housings, etc.

Though before i put it together completely and to save me having to take it apart again, i am wondering if this really is the problem to begin with. That is, the vertical scratches in my rotor housing are the reason that my compression was horrible, eventually leading to my fc not starting.

I read somewhere on the internet that it is acceptable if the scatches are no more than .02m, but if they are more than that, the housings should be replaced. I do not have a tool to measure such a small amount, but essentially, i can run my fingernail across the housing, and it gets caught in the scratches.

If it really is my housings that are causing this ordeal, is there a way to rid of the scratches? Or do i have to buy new housings or get them refurbished or whatever.

Anyways, i appreciate all the help i can get.
