When I press on the brakes I get a hissing sound coming from the brake booster. I check there is no leaks and the brakes DO NOT stick to the floor what could it be I checked all the hoses??

Since you did not state your Vehicle series I will assume FC.
there is a check valve in the hose of the brake booster..going to the steel line on the firewall..Check and see if it is allowing vacuum..

I have a FD. I tried checking online but everything I found was for an FC. Before I buy a brake booster I want to make sure it's nothing silly.
