using the wolf 3d stand alone version 4
hey every one whats up well i just bought a 88 turbo II motor for my 91 rx7 . i have a non turbo body that was turned into a 91 turbo II it still has original non turbo harness all emissions removed 91 turbo ecu . i used the 88 turbo II block and swap all my bolt on's on to it from the previous set up it great runs great .im also using a super afc 2 for tuning wit wide band . now i got a wolf 3d version 4 ecu and harness that came wit the egine i bought ( 88 turbo II engine ) im woundering if i can run this wolf ecu in my 91 rx7 if so what needs to be done i didnt get any instructions wit it and wolf 3d web sit is no help can some one please help thanks also is a 87-88 turbo ecu compatibale to a 89-91 turbo ecu can they be swaped

Yes you can run it, im not sure if your asking if you can use the 91 harness or not. You probably _could_ but i wouldn't recommend it, you would have to add a lot of wires being the wolf needs to be connected to things that are in both the passenger side and drivers side engine harness, and it would make for an under dash wiring nightmare
Also you cant use the stock trailing ignitor, i suggest buying a 3rd gen coil ignitor (its a 3 channel) and then you have the option of using it to fire both trailing and leading coils, or in my case, i just mounted it in the original trailing ignitor location and had it just run the trailing coils.
If you start a thread in the wolf3d subforum you will get some help quicker than in random subforums such as this one, feel free to pm me aswell with anyquestions
