A single turbo isn't smog legal in CA.

The MPG is largely dependent on your right foot. You can get the same regardless of whether its single turbo or stock twins.

For DD duties, the stock twins rock. Plenty of low end response makes it easy to drive around, still makes plenty of power and the cops won't hassle you for smog legality.
