Does your car idle at close to 1400 rpm after a cold start and then slowly drops eventually leveling out at about 750 rpm?

You gotta be a little more descriptive in your issue

What i'm gathering is when its cold, you have to keep giving it gas to keep it running until it warms up?

If thats correct, it sounds like your thermowax isn't working properly, or you have a clog and coolant isn't working its way to it like it should
