turbocharging a 84 gsl se

im working on buying a 84 gsl se and im just looking at my options...turbo maybe? (just a thought)

what would i need to do differently on a rotary engine that i wouldnt need to do on a piston engine, would i need new rotors with lower compression or no

also the engine is carbed, someone said it was swapped to a carb, how hard would it be to use a turbo with a carb im not sure how it would work...if it would work

thanks

Generally, it's the same concepts for turbocharging a rotary. Supply the proper amount of fuel, timing and keep things as cool enough to prevent detonation. No need to swap rotors unless you have to replace them anyway. You can turbo your carbed engine by a draw-through or blow-through system.

it doesn't really work like that. you have to know how much power you want and what you're going to be willing to do (and be able to afford) to get it. if you're going to want more than what bolt-ons provide then you're going to also have to figure what you're capable of doing yourself and what you'll have to pay someone else to do.
