Ok I have read everything I can find on these conversions. Maybe I am just not understanding very well, or I just cant read!!! lol At the risk of being totally flamed, here is my question. Can I put everything from an s4 turbo ll into an s5 N/A convertible???

 

Yes, but its much easier to use an S5 TII engine. The wiring is completely different between S4 and S5... To avoid any headaches use an S5 engine.

 

just take your s4 shortblock and put the s5 front cover and omp on it and all your s5 goodies on it as well. but its much faster to just start with an s5 motor. i have done many of these swaps. s4 to s5 and s5 to s4. you can pm me if you have any questions.

 

Also a desire would b to get the turbo II hood and sideskirts right?

 

Thanks, I will do that!!! I can find S4 Turbo ll cars for sale quite frequently. If I ever found an S5 original Turbo ll, I probably couldn't afford it!!! lol I have thought of just buying a turbo car, but my convertible is in the most incredible condition, I couldn't part with it, and I dont have room for another car!!!
