Turbo lag in the United Kingdom!
Recently got myself another rx7. Seems to run fine but when you put your foot more than half way down it feels like there's turbo lag and second turbo doesn't seem to engage the same time as my old one did. Any help I'd be very greatful. Jamie

Buy back the old RX-7. Tossing this out there for the EFI/turbo crowd. I can't help since I'm still playing with Nikki carburetors in the 1stgen's.
Sorry for the delay in this thread's release.

Judging from your post you have a 3rd gen yes? That is only the smallest bit of info you didn't include. What sort of compression does the engine have? mileage? how old are the turbo's? any shaft play?
This is an issue that can have many causes, I suffer from it too but for different reasons. Good Luck!

You didn't really give anyone enough info to comment but you would be best served by going to the 3rd gen fAQ thread stickied in this forum and scrolling down to the T section where you will find a link to Turbo Troubleshooting. Go through the procedure in that that thread
