Its flooding out. The cause can be a couple things, either low compression or a stuck injector.

As long as you know the deflooding procedures you should be fine.

If you want you can make a cut off switch for the fuel pump and use that to turn off the car.

The true fix though is to clean out the injectors professionally and getting a rebuild.

Try this:

Press gas pedal to floor one time, then release. Then turn the key...

ok the problem usually is flooding these engines fuel systems don't work like a normal engine whereas the pump primes the system then delivers the right amount of fuel on startup. These pump an extreme amount of fuel on startup using the lead spark plugs to ignite it. If your having trouble starting it it could be injectors but chances are it also could be spark plugs or your compression. Is it starting at all or are you just having trouble starting it. If you put the pedal to the floor it cuts off fuel which could help if you are flooding the engine. It could also be your maf or your ecu that is why I asked for more info you can't just say clean your injectors or rebuild without knowing all the info. Thats like saying my engine is running rich so I'm going to replace the engine.

here's the problem not many people know about these things thats why I had to research and learn on my own. Try new plugs but make sure you get the right ones there are 2 different sets leading and trailing. Deflood the engine and put the plugs in then try starting it. It also could have something to do with your maf or ecu. Are you getting fuel are you getting spark check on those I\and let us know.

It could be that the injectors are leaking after you shut off the engine...

However, before doing anything else, try starting the car the correct way. That is, press the pedal to the floor one time, then release it and turn the key. This sets the fast idle and other **** that's built into the system to aid in starting...

Press it to the floor one time, then take your foot off the gas completely. Then turn the key and start it.

I have found pulling the EGI fuse out and cranking the engine 2-3 times popping the EGI fuse back in will help with floods and cold engine starts

try unplugging the coolant temperature sensor and starting it. i had a FC that had the same problem, at first i had to play with the throttle to start it and after a while nothing at all. if unplugging it doesn't start the car try looping it.
