i have an 87 rx7 and i put a new engine it from a 89 rx7 that i got from a friend it took me a while to figure it all out and put it in my car but i finally swapped everything and got it to start, but when i started it it wouldnt idle i would have to stay on the gas to keep it to idle so i went through and made sure there wasnt any vacuum leaks and plugged them off and it still wont idle idk what it could b, and my other problem is the transmission i have no clutch feel at all but ive bleed the lines and i can watch as a friend pushes the clutch peddle it moves the fork but yet it still wont go into gear unless i start it in gear but when im moving it wont let me change gears, do u think i might need to change my pressure plate since its a different engine or what?
