trailing ignition location

I have an 84 and it won't start. Someone mentioned it was my trailing ignitor, I did a few searches and diagnosed my baby with trailing ignitor failure. I need to operate. There is someone who is going to call me with a parts car. I need to know how to remove the ignitor for 2 reasons.

1. So o can extract it from the donor

2. So I can replace mine and test it etc.

Can't actually find where it is and how to remove it with a search. But in pretty sure that's what it is.

What happens is my engine just turns over and over. Haven't checked off I'm getting fuel but I read that the trailing ignitor supplies power to the pump. Right before she died the tach stopped working and a few feet after she started bogging like the was no gas or there was water in the tank please help me guys

The ignitors are located on the side of the distributor. The trailing ignitor is the closer of the two to the timing vacuum control units also located on the side of thr distributor. I haven't looked at them, but I can imaging they are easy to remove. Probably one screw holding them on. Good luck.
