Hey guys. My idles a little rough now, and i hear it can be because of my tps being off. i've read forums on how to adjust it, but i don't know where the screws even are! Can someone upload pictures, or maybe explain what screw does what on a s4 tii?

You should download the FSM. It tells you how to adjust the TPS and much more.

I always hear to download the fsm, but never got a link that worked. Thanks a bunch. I'll definitely read into it.

But before you adjust the TPS, you need to make sure there aren't any other problems like vacuum leaks, a bad/clogged BAC valve, etc. Just fiddling with the TPS can cause more problems.

That is the result of the previous owner hacking the throttle body with something called "the throttle body mod". That's where your hesitation is coming from.

The question is, what else did the dumbass do? I'd suggest getting a stock replacement throttle body.

Could you explain a little further with this "Throttle body mod", how would it cause the hesitation, and if i could remove this "mod" and why would he plug it with silicone?
