NJ Tinted windows

Wanted some feed back on this? Some ppl have told me not to do it because it would mess up my back window with the defrost..... Is it worth getting and is there any harm to it?

I just replaced a back glass as some asshat put tint on and it bubbled up like a MuddaTruckah..
If you like your tint then do NOT turn the Heat grid on the rear glass to defrost.
Then again most guys I know just store the car when it gets that cold.

The side and hatch glass on my car have been (professionally) tinted for years to my state's max. On a sunny day the AC didn't have a chance without it and I wanted to protect the interior as much as practical from UV damage. There's also a side benefit at night other car/truck headlights from behind are less of an issue. No issues to date, but like Styx said, I only drive it in fair weather and can't remember using the rear defogger very much.

Done professionally, you'll be fine. It may/will mess with the defroster lines when you try to pull the tint off, and you'd want to do that if you see bubbles so the key is doing it right.
