Tie Rod on an FB RX7
Got an alignment on the 85 RX7 GS and the mechanic said that the "left tie rod adjuster assembly is seized." Does that mean tie rod end? And if so, which end, inner or outer?

Ok picture this..a threaded rod with a "locker nut" on it.
The tie rod END goes onto that rod.
That rod is attached basically to the rest of the steering rack.
The alignment guy will usually 'Loosen' the rod and either screw it into the tie rod end in or out,to adjust your alignment.
IF that End cannot move on that rod then the alignment cannot be done.
It sounds like the threads are toast and you would end up getting a new Inner tie rod ..The "rod" that is threaded..so you can get the car aligned..
That,or a different rack that has 2 good ends.
