I have an issue on my 1990 rx7 where it is super jerking and bucks mostly in low gears lol in parking lots when I let off gas and when I push clutch in say when rolling up to stop sign to put in neutral tranny feel like it shakes and rattle

Also this may be related or just a separate issue with my already confirmed crap tranny

When clutch pedal is out a whirring kinda grinding noise can be heard through shifter in trans when clutch is in it goes away could that be input shaft or throwout bearing idk.....

Just wanna get some opinions be for I start dropping dimes on parts and labor...

 

If it was your throwout bearing it would make noise In neutral with your clutch depressed. Its probably your input shaft bearing

 

Well could input shaft bearing also cause the jerking and bucking in low gear and the whine threw the transmission?

 

Not sure about the jerking, that's more likely a mount. But it could very much cause a whine

 

had the same problem but it ended up to be the throw out bearing. About the whine like you said it could be because of the old transmission and the synchros worn out, but other than that it sounds like the throw out bearing needs replacement.

 

Yeah I'm going to have to replace with clutch kit and buy a used tranny thats hopefully better.... money sucks...
