Not unless you modify the throttle body.

O wait let me clearify exactly what im doing first. Im building a 4 port moter to go in my 88 gxl that was an s4 six port but now it will be a t2 moter so I need to figuer out what throtle cable I need for my s5 t2 uim and throtle body.

So if I get it, you are converting an n/a s4 engine to turbo and plan to use an s5 t2 uim and throttle body. If I have that right, then, it seems to me you should be able to connect an s5 t2 throttle cable into the gas pedal connection point on your s4 na car. To be safe, I would check the parts fiches & make sure the s4 and s5 throttle cable part numbers match.

And keep posting, my friend. I can't wait to hear what else you are planning.

I think you swap the throttle spool with that from the NA. Never done it myself though.

lol that works out perfectly! I was actuly going to do it that same way. I was playing around with my throtle body last night, and I came up with prity much the same way of doing it that the how to thread says. I think im going to do it that way because I dont want that long *** turbo cable wraping around my whole engine.
