Hi,
I am rebuilding my 80 rx7. My mechanic got it to start, but he is not comfortable going any further. The car starts and will run if the choke is all the way out and the rpms are kept high, but dies if choke is pushed in and/or the rpms get below 2k.

My mechanic thinks its a carb issue. If that makes sense then I need a carb shop in/near Tempe that someone can reccomend.

Also, if anyone can reccomend a mechanic, please do so.
