Alright so my problem is that my tail lights won't come on but when i push the brakes everything lights up fine. I have done some research about this and its come down to the light switch which are a known flaw on the 2nd gens.

Now my only concern is that everyone that has had a problem with the switch/harness has reported that the dash lights don't work either but mine work 100% fine so I'm wondering if its possible that it could be something else? And yes i did the easy stuff like check the ILLUM fuse and all the tail bulbs. Oh and its an 88 GXL if that makes a difference.
