It looks really Ghetto, but of course nobody sees it, works great, no more problem, car launches fine, no tire hop. |
Bumpstart had a thing he did on a Diff mount.
there is also a vendor making a prototype right now,but not completed. I just replaced the whole rear in my car and I am "burnin midnight oil" with an idea. If you wrap the nose of the diff with a clamp of some sort, you can attach it through the drain hole at the bottom of the Subframe. I wish I could show you,but I suck at design stuff! |
There is a writeup on norotors somehwere on welding a bar onto the diff bolt on mount and another onto the subframe and another onto the diff mount and bolting them together with one hole big enough to allow some freeplay, I'll see if I can look it up later. If it works for V8's it'll work for rotaries.

Did you buy the competition diff mount or the stock one? I'm not sure how i feel about the truck tire idea, that seems a little sketchy haha:nod: what about the diff mount is broken, did you drop the subframe to see Dd the rubber break loose from the metal or did something just come unbolted? I'd spend the 300 on a mount unless you can do what ncaudio said.
