Symptoms of a Bad Ground?

Hello all, So i just started having this weird problem. Car is a 93 Efini and lately my dash has been making that beeping warning sound. Sometimes it stays on constantly until the car shuts off, some times its just one beep randomly. Whats weird, and makes me think its a bad ground somewhere is my mileage counter doesn't work, but randomly it will turn on and roll through incomplete alien text like numbers then go back to complete orange, or randomly flash the ad coolant light, but my coolant is full and there is no air in it.

However the previous owner did wire in some gauges and there is quite a few wires under the dash, and the car has this weird rust stop thing wired into the positive battery terminal. Could that cause it?

These Could Be Symptoms Of A Bad Ground But, I Doubt It If It Remains "complete orange" AND The "previous owner" Has Done Wiring. I Would Suspect A Short Somewhere. You Should Inspect For Exposed Wires. Specifically, Ones Touching Other Wires OR Positive Touching Grounds.

Good Luck. Wiring Issues Are Very Elusive.

A friend of mine had a problem witht he check coolant buzzer, it turned out that his overflow line wasn't tight enough and was getting air in it and tripping the buzzer. But you say that it only does it fro time to time, so idk if this will help
