You just can't toss parts on the engine and expect it to turn into a turbo raging monster.
Your question is sort of vague,as you are not familiar with the engine yet,.(as noted by your other posts)
It needs fuel, engine management, etc. Not to mention what size of turbo, what are the intentions of all these power requirements.
You are jumping at things way too quickly and the info is Here on the forum waiting for you already.
You have do do something for YOU,and that is start to use the Forum and it's features,.You can browse the appropriate section and start reading threads that already contain the info you are asking about.

i know that much like you said for the swap i get that, i was just asking which route would be better but buying the s5 tii with the req parts and swapping that in will make me half way to my goal for this car. i only want 275-350 hp which the tii motor with be like 205-212 hp stock right? i want to make it to daily/ have fun car nothing to serious but i want a turbo rotory engine in this thing rather then n/a. i know the minor things ill need but not everything for the build. swaping i now i need the engine, ecu, trans, wiring harness, and replace some senors and add a boost sensor and gauge and change my fuel pump to handle the boost correct?

Ok gotcha..
the Jdm engines would be a crap shoot as far as to buy one, install it and expecting it to be Perfect. If you do buy one then best to rebuild it.
If you stay within the series(s5 na car and toss in a S5 TII) then you are ok,with little hassle,
\but if you decide to change it up and put say an s4 into an s5,then you better get a degree in engineering!...lol..not real easy to do!
S5 TII is the "Slice of pie" around here,so if you can get that in an s5 car then go for it.
You can alter the parameters of the ECU with an RTEK2.1 and have a cheap 250hp on pretty well stock parts.
If you Upgrade then you are looking at a NEW ECU,wiring, sensors, injectors, turbo, fuel system.blah,blah,blah.....
and that is when your Financial advisor(your wife) will kick you in the Gonads and tell you its the car or her!
Remember cars can't cook!..(Ouch..sorry..no offense to the opposite sex!Just trying to save a relationship here..chill girl..lol!)

Most jdm engines will likely need a rebuild, you can check here on the forums and junkyards etc and get the parts cheaper.

I got an s4 block with everything but the Turbo for $250 from the junkyard, s5 will probably be alot harder to get cheap.

If you can afford it go ahead and get a jdm engine, I just wouldn't assume its good until you compression test it and see at least 85 psi on all faces.

best to just buy a used JDM complete long block with transmission, wiring harness and ECU. it's simply going to cost nearly as much to piece one together now.

but as mentioned, keep money set aside on top for the possible rebuild that it may need, and avoid tigerjapanese out of canada.

85psi with a cranking speed of about or above 200rpms is low and in need of a rebuild, unless it is a new engine that has yet to reach peak compression.
