suspension and underbody question
he,y i have a 1991 NA.
first I was wondering about the underbody of the car, as I was jacking up my car, I noticed that when I jack up on the frame, it's was really weak and bended in as it was being lifted. I had no choice but to jack it up from both sides one of a time, because the jack I had at the time didn't allow me to reach the spots the pictures told me in the "Properly Jacking Car" thread in the 2nd gen archive.. anyways, as I jacked it up from the frame, there was this sticky looking tar stuff that basically broke as it was being lifted up, not sure if it comes stock like that or not, and if I should be alarmed by it, is there anyways to replace/fix/reinforce this?
second, as I changed my shocks and springs, I drove it around for a while and when turning into driveways or into the gas station I heard squeaks from the car. somebody mentioned i should get a polyurethane bushing kit from mazdatrix and while I'm at it get DTSS toe eliminators.
lastly in the couple weeks to come I was going to get my car an alignment, but I don't necessarily know so much about how it's done and what the specs really do.
can anyone give me some alignment specs to tell the shop?
I'm fine with stock alignment specs (i'm sure I can find it in my FSM) but I'm trying to see some track time this spring and wondering if there are different specs out there for harder driving?

You jacked up in the wrong spots. If you tweaked too bad in the wrong spot, you will have damaged the underbody and will have frame and alignment issues. There is a factory undercoating on the FC, the black sticky stuff is that undercoating. You probably should re-spray with undercoating available at most car parts stores to help prevent rust from forming.
The DTSS eliminators are a waste of money unless yours are broken or you are cornering at high speeds and very high G-forces. 90% of the people that drive a FC will never corner fast enough to even kick in the DTSS. A functioning DTSS will actually increase your cornering stability at high speed, as it switches to Toe in at above .5-.6 G. People that say replace it are typically drifters that don't know better or someone that reads what they saw on a forum somewhere. Now if the DTSS bushings are bad/broken/wasted, then it makes sense to replace them as the cost for new ones includes the arm.
An alignment shop should have the specs but of not, you can down load the factory manual. The links for it can be found in the FAQ for FC sticky thread found at the top of this section as well as the top of the 2nd gen RX7 technical section.

Where do you recommend I jack if I can't reach the safer spots? Or maybe I should use wooden blocks to increase my height?

hope you got DEEP pockets
because getting an alignment done by an outfit like that is gonna be pointless and overkill (and not to mention expensive)
unless your going to fully overhaul your suspension with coilovers and make everything fully adjustable and race on a full road course every month
