Its safe but you'll have to take into account what goes into putting a tii motor in a na car. Also will have to take into acct your intake manis as you can't put your na manis on a tii motor and that will probably mess up your sc setup as far as placement and plumbing of the intake. Also, the reason you probably blew your motor and probably will again on a 4 port is cooling and timing as well as your lean issue. With anything over like 5 psi you need intake cooling, whether it be intercooling or h2o/ meth inj. Also, of course you need extra fuel and retarded timing at that boost level. These things a stock na ecu can't provide. If you don't address these issues you will keep blowing motors.

Btw, what sc are you running that is making that much boost?

ok, since you are using the camden kit, you are gonna need to stay with a 6 port motor since the intake mani is designed to fit that, not a 4 port.

also, im not familiar with the camdens, but i know that they say that you can use stock everything, but you should know that you will always be taking a risk. this isnt a piston engine, you can push that kinda boost on a stock NA ecu with no extra fuel and no intercooling and expect it to last very long. believe me, i used to have a paxton sc on my na running ultra rich to help cool the intake charge and prevent knock untill i could get a standalone and meth injection setup. what happened? a few months go by with *seldom* hard driving and the motor lets go.

if you want the best protection for the least cost/work:
1) get a TII/FD/walbro255 fuel pump
2) get TII injectors
3) get a TII ecu, AFM and boost sensor to match your series
(w/ a stock TII ecu you will need an fcd if you plan on pushing more than 8psi, another alternative is to get an rtek 1.5 which has an fcd built in)
4) pick up a basic h20 inj kit from HERE
(or figure out some way to intercool it)
