Subs in the trunk

i got an 88 vert and was wondering if anybody ever tryed putting a sub and an amp in the trunk instead of the cab

I'm sure somebody's been down that path before, so let's hear the pro's and con's, folks. I've got a 1stgen myself, so I don't have anything even remotely resembling a trunk in my hatch area.

lol yea i took the box out the other day and i was like dam that's a lot of room i could be using but with out the sub it sounds so bad, anybody ever tried it?

might be hard due to the fact that you have to put the targa in there as well with the vert
