Strange warning alarm

Here's a weird one. I have a 1985 RX-7 that I bought new from the dealership. It has around 35,000 miles on it and I drive it maybe 2,000 miles per year. Last week, I brought it out and it started up fine. The third time I started it, a really loud warning whistle came on and stayed on. It was not the regular buzzer that comes on normally. All of the warning lights work and none of them lit up along with the whistle. So I drove the car for about ten miles and it died out. I was not able to re-start it, so I had it flat bedded home. The next day, it started right up. The warning whistle is still blaring and I am afraid to drive it for fear of another shutdown. Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated!

I'd be checking fluids first before doing any driving.
Any Warning lights coming on?.
Why would you be driving IF the car is Telling you that something is not right?..
The car is speaking to you, don't avoid what it is saying..it won't turn out in your favor.

Not sure if this is going to be of any help, But its either fuel issue, or power steering alarm.... My FC did a weird alarm one time and I was told it was the power steering alarm, it has acted up a few times since but nothing major.. Sorry for your issue!!!!
