steering rack Q's
hi im new here and i have a somewhat out of the ballpark question
i am currently putting a manual rack in my 89gtu
my rediculous question is, is it at all possible to swap the rack and pinion from a power steering model into a manual housing (better gearing, more sleek and clean look)
?
thanx

There has been a write up on how to depower a power rack... But I'm not sure if anyone has put the guts of a power rack in a manual body...
I'd assume the pinion is a different length to connect to the valve body rather than connecting directly to the column.
