steering

My 1997 rx7 has no power steering and it steers like a truck. I have checked the linkage and adghsted the backlash on the steringring box and have foung no problems there. My friend has the same model and it sterrs easlly. I did have to add some fluid to the gear box but that didn't help much. It takes two hands to turn the wheel wich means no shifting during during the turn and also sometimes puts me into the wrong lane in a turn. Any thoughts that might help? Also there is nothing loose in the linkedge but no grease fittings that may help. I was thinking of drilling and taping a hol to grease the componits. Any helput there? Wally

What exactly are you adding fluid to? Got a pic?

The steering rack doesn't require any grease. Its not a truck.

Post up some pics of the engine bay. Also, is the year correct? They stopped importing the RX7 to the US in 1993
