Squealing belts? Pulley?

Hey so I have a 88 gtu and I had my belts changed less than a 100 miles ago and just last night on my home something started to squeal coming from the bay. It will go and come back, it usually does it after 2500 rpm but the strange thing is it won't do it when I'm revving with the throttle body it'll only do it when I press on the pedal. The belts look in place too. Could it be the pulley? It had also stopped a little after I let off gear but once I got back into 4th, 3rd it started. It's truly weird because it'll even stop while cruising and go back to normal... Any help?
car is NA bone stock by the way

it's possible. there should be a spec (there is definitely a rule of thumb) for the amount of deflection in the belt.

also, i've always had good luck with gates belts.

gates is good I got some Korean brand not sure not master pro but the belts arenew. I found a little spot on The belt (one closest to the fan) where it looks like there could be tiny bit of space in between it and the pulley. Idk if that might be a possibility.. Is it safe to remove or even scoot it in more? Thx

if the problem exceeds I guess changing that one belt would be worth it 😪 I've centered the belt and been tightening the adjusting bolt hope it'll do the trick

I also went nuts and took each pulley and sanded the insides off to get a good contact for the belts.

By the way, just hit the Quote Icon..it will take the Whole post and stick it in your reply.

You could try loosening your alternator and making sure its actually stretching the belt properly and putting tension back into the belt, I had almost the same issue that when I got up to speed my belt on my alt would loosen and squeal then me and a friend loosened my alt and he pulled up on it while I tightened it back down and BOOM! no more squeal.
