Which springs for a gen 1? B&G, Progress, St suspensions?

Hey guys

trying to get new springs for my 83 1st gen.

never had experience with these brands.

what would you get? they are all the same price range

B&G has lifetime warranty

Progress 2 years

ST 2 years

now in my experience springs last forever so do i even worry about the waranty, or is there a brand there that is just better than the rest?

If anyone can help me decide so i dont get the wrong ones for this car that would be greatly appreciated.

thx

Don't know much about 1st gen setups myself... but I can tell you that springs don't last forever, but typically a really long time. In most cases longer than you will own the car.

What are your plans for the car? If you are looking for anything more than just a daily driver, I would recommend skipping over the choices you have listed and go straight to coilovers. I went with Racing Beat springs a few years ago, but like most "drop" springs they actually raised my car up. And after a few months of driving on them, I realized that they weren't that much of an improvement.

So I sold them and got some coilovers from www.re-speed.com What a difference!

Here's a video from my last autocross, the first three clips are of my car:
