someone tell me where these wires go (please)

i have an 86 rx7 n/a 5 speed. noticed these wires (located near the thermostat housing as shown in the pic) were disconnected, and i cant seem to find where they go to. not sure if this is related, but the car has a bouncy idle from about 400-900 rpm... if someone can help me out, it would be much appreciated!

See That gadget that looks like it has a Bell on it.. right by the RED wire in your Pic?
The wires are broken off that sensor on it.
THAT is where your 2 wires go.(ACV valve.I think)

I don't think it will do anything negative. Those wires tell the ACV to open and allow exhaust to circulate into the intake at startup for witchcraft that lowers greenhouse gases. If its not hooked up it the same as taking off the ACV I believe.

I'm not an expert however so YMMV

There are two solenoids related to the ACV so it depends which solenoid. Just look at the two wire colors and this will tell you. If the wire besides the Black/White wire is Black/Red then it is the Port Air Solenoid while if the wire is White instead then it is the Split Air Solenoid.
