ID Simple Experiment

so I know that this will be a waste of my money but you know those ebay chips right? well I got a bit curious.

Thought to myself. "why don't I see if what they say is true or not"?

Im simply going to just see if my throttle response will increase if I get better fuel mileage and if I gain any power at all!

Now I'm no rick guy who has money to spend so I'm just going to do this one time if I notice and changes to my car at all I will keep it. But if it doesn't I'm going to return it and be proud of the fact that I wasted money on fuel xD

so wish me luck I guess don't really have to... I will try to make a video if any difference occurs.

man my wife will be angry xD

It's not a chip, first of all. It's just a resistor in a box that gets connected in series with the CLT/IAT, slightly altering the temp reading to make the car run a bit richer (or leaner). No effect, waste of money, etc.

In this case I say lets burst his bubble.

If you really think a "chip" will help in performance gains just look at it this way.

These things would be in all our cars, and even reputable companies would sell their versions of these lie an AEM Perfomrance chip just my opinion.

Spoken like someone who bought the electric turbo, or one of those "super tornado vortex inducers" that instantly give you 50 whp. Or maybe it was the fuel line magnet for Prius-like mpg on a 4x4. After all...they were all clinically tested by leading gypsy mechanics in Bulgaria.

Plentymoon I'm now way recommending u get one of these chips but if like experimenting and have the money to spare it might be fun. I'm new to mazdas but there usually is little tricks people have for tuning maybe you can search this sight and find some of those tricks instead of buying well gimmicks. Where at are u in Idaho?
