Shorter throttlebody for '88 NA 13B

I gave up on trying to find parts for my 12A and bought a '88 13B to replace it. While the engine itself fits in my MG well the throttlebody is a bit too tall. Is there a shorter one I can fit? I'd like to avoid having to modify my hood if I can.

And no I don't want to carb it.

The only thing you can do is fabricate an adapter to fit a different throttle body on the intake. However, since the throttle body is the same height as the upper intake, are you referring to the intake manifold instead?

I'd have no problem with using a different intake. I just need to get the height down. The 12A's manifold had the carb off to the side and that worked.

There are only two basic choices for intake swapping on an injected 13B:

-make your own
-use a set of ITBs on a Weber style lower intake manifold
