I would go with an ARC TMIC or the KNIGHTSPORTS TMIC its much bigger than the stock one, but that's just my 2 cents

everybody upgrades to front mount. don't know if there's an actual aftermarket replacement for the stock location.

A FMIC would definitely be a much better upgrade rather than using a bigger TMIC but if you're on a tight budget, ARC and KNIGHTSPORTS does make an upgraded TMIC its just a matter of sourcing it out because they are pretty hard to come by.

There are a few good reasons to install a top mount. Saving money isn't one of them. If you're not interested in correcting the barely functional stock TII hood scoop, just take the easy, effective, and cheaper path and get a FMIC instead.
