Hi newbee with a question ? I am currently building a series 3 & am after some advice on the diff.So 26 spline but has a CIG locker. What are my options for an LSD. Aftermarket or a later model Mazda ? 26 spline axles so seems to be a 3 series diff. Cheers for any advice

 

By "CIG" do you mean the spider gears have been welded together?

 

Hi yes sorry i should have been more specific. From experience not ideal for a Sunday driver.

 

Yeah, I just wanted to clarify it for USA readers. We call it a welded diff, or something like that. Its good for pure offroad driving. Like sand or mud. Or pure drag-strip driving. But total **** for real-world Street driving, especially in wet or snowy conditions.
