Hi,
have a 1987 Rx-7. In need of an engine.
Wife wants to get rid of it.
Im stuck in what to do mode.
Need an engine or engine swap and need someone or place to do it.
Hasnt run in about 10yrs.
Body has minor dent on front end and rear quarter panel. Interior has minor rip on seam of front seat. Dash is good. Everything worked except ac.

Welcome to the forum! You can hit up the marketplace section reference the engine and any other parts that you're looking for. The 2nd gen tech section will help you with getting things straightened out. There's a "Builds" section in the 2ng gen section if you want to start a build or restoration thread on your car. We would love to see one!

If you decide that you are going to sell the car and want to list it here on the forum, it should be listed for sale in the marketplace section.

There is a shop in NE SA, Georges Garage, who I'm told has a pretty fast RX-3. I haven't visited his shop, but the business card has an RX-8 on it if that's any consolation. I was recommended him by towing company when I was moving my car from place to place and mentioned I didn't have a plan or enough knowledge yet to start wrenching.

If you're looking for a shop to work on it, you've got Rotary Performance and Rx7.com both in Dallas. Not sure if there are any shops in SA that are comparable but in the grand scheme of things Dallas isn't so far to take it.
