Question Safe to Run Synthetic Premix?

I'm doing my first oil change on my 'Rex, and I'm going to premix a tank of gas before hand just in case something goes awry. Locally, I've got a choice between TC-W3 Havoline 2-cycle and Pennzoil Marine outboard 2-cycle. Besides being "marine" oil, it is also a synthetic blend. Has there been a consensus on whether it is safe to run synthetic premix or not, or should I stick with conventional 2-cycle?

Thanks y'all.
