S5 auto to manual swap....?

hi everyone..i recently bought a 90 GXL but its an automatic...i was wondering if there was a write up or a how to on converting it into a 5 speed..i was looking around the forum and i found one write up...but wut i didnt really get about it was having to make a bracket for the manual transmission...? cant u just directly bolt on the bracket to the mount thats on it already...? thanks for the help guys!!!

No, the mounting point on the chassis is not the same on automatic cars. A manual transmission mounts further up.

There is a write up you need to search for it. you basically will need to cut and splice some wires on the wiring harness and wire up your tail lights, get a clutch pedal, cut the whole for the pedal, make a trans bracket for the manual trans, get a clutch master cylinder or w.e theyre called and theres more to it so search

I dont think any companies make them but Im not sure. Youll just have to measure and get an idea of how to make a bracket then get one made or make it yourself. Just dont use cheapy metal haha
