MD s4 s5 compatability

im posting here so i don't get flamed lol

about a month ago i bought my first 7 a 88 gxl

today i bought my second a s5 I'm not sure of the year but it is an s5 gtu

what parts are absolutely not compatible both are running cars

maf... I don't think are the same... lower intake manifolds are differant.. Primary fuel rail..gauge clusters.. Hope this helps I have an 88 base model.. I have seen 1 s5 these are things I have read.

thanks alot i didnt know the fuel rails were different thats good to know but i basically would like to know what i definately cant use on my s4 from the s5

i'm sure the list is more extensive than that as i know the injectors themselves are of different impedance and use different clips. my advice would be to check the FAQ's and Archives in the Gen II forum for more info.
