Hey I am doing a REW swap on my Rx8 using the Nicon Rotary oil pan. I am checking with Nicon what they used for a dipstick in the meantime. Turns out the Rx8 and REW dipstick tubes are a different height....mazda why? I plan on just shaving down my Rx8 dipstick instead of dropping 100$ on another one.

Can someone take a measurement on their REW dipstick for me from the fill line to the part of the rubber that would touch the end of the dipstick tube?

Well I got an FD dipstick, so here is the comparison vs the Rx8 dipstick. Note I had already modified the rx8 dipstick a little.
