RX7s Produced

Anyone know how many RX7 3RD gens were produced in the States.
How many produced in the world?
i think its like 7,000 in the world but not sure. (not counting the later models in japan in the early 2000s)

Between 1992-2002, 68,589 units were sold worldwide. Between 1993-1995, 13,879 units were sold in the U.S. I found this info from wikipedia, so it may not be 100% accurate. I hope this helps and I hope this link works: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_RX-7

nonetheless rx7's still continue to be a rare car! Ive havent seen on on the road for 3 days now, besides my bro's lol. Makes you really appreciate them when you do see them.

That's nothing. I went a year without seeing one on the road. I am not speaking of seeing a buddy driving one, just randomly seeing one on the streets driven by an older person.

It seems that I only see RX-7's on the road while I'm driving mine. A shame, considering that I haven't driven mine in over 3 months.
