I have an 86 base rx7 and it has a little trouble starting with a new battery and a new tps and after it gets going, it dies shortly after it starts to idle... wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what might be wrong with it

 

You need to post more info.
Will the car start up and then Die?
Is there any Modifications done to the car in the engine bay?
Have you changed any parts,tune up wise?..like changed the Fuel filter,etc.?

 

Many possibilities, but since you are having trouble starting it, and keeping it running, start out with a compression check than go from there
