Got a fc 1987 non turbo 13b , when I'm in the car a hear a spinning noise in the front but when I hold down on the clutch the noise goes down but as soon as a let back up the clutch the noise comes back, help any ideas on what it is?

 

Sounds as though it's the input bearing on the transmission. Do you also hear the noise in the 1st two gears?

Common issue. The only way to fix it is to rebuild the transmission, but the car could continue to run like this for years. Most NA transmissions are noisy at this point.

Change the transmission oil if it has not been done in the last 30K.

 

Thanks yeah I herd it was that to so im just gunna get a whole tranny rebuild and new throwout bearings
