Rx7 Help

Hello,
My name Is Sam and I am a newb but our family has a long history and love for Rx7 my dad bout his brand new rx7 in 85 and a couple of years ago we bought a 88' GXL Rx7 but unfortunately this summer my mother ruined it by ignoring the engine temp while the coolant was low... I know believe me I am still having a hard time talking about it... so currently I am looking for another enigne and hope to get it finished by spring. This car is far from being done it only has 90,000 miles on it and to me its in perfect condition (besides the engine... : ( ) it has all documentation on all services and is just spectacular. I am looking at converting it to the turbo model and would love input from anyone who has done the conversion? it would help tremendously!! I look forward to hearing from you guys! Thanks for your time!!

Do try the search button. There are many of these NA to TII swap questions asked daily.

Basically, get a COMPLETE TII engine (engine and TII ECU/harness) from the same series FC (S4 86-88, S5 89-91) and swap away. When you mix series engines it gets complicated.

If you can't get the engine with the harness, your N/A harness can be modified to work. Just more extra work for you.

See the sticky at the top of this forum that says FAQ for FC? Read it.
