Hello RX7Club! Im in the process of beginning my T2 swap for my FC. I know that you need all engine components and transmission but I feel there are more items I need in order to complete this swap. Please let me know on what I need and for anyone who did this exact swap please give me your input and what you did. Thanks!

Negative on the Harness.
I put a S5TII engine in an S4 car and used the S4 harness.You just gotta drop all the "unnecessary stuff" and turn some of the engine's components to compatable S4 Components..(like Injectors so they will connect to the harness).Extend a couple wires and use the s4 Throttle body and TPS..
Ya you can go to a Stand alone and create Financial limbo in buying stuff that you don't need to get going but If you start off by looking at the MANY Threads that were posted with the info that you seek then you may be able to avoid that fiasco.
Honestly Guys are doing a swap every day and post the info and many threads are already posted so the info is already up and Guys "could" post the info you seek but honestly there isn't enough space in your thread to post the info that is already up ON the Forum!
I know you are new but the Fun part is being able to USE The Forum to your benefit and it wouldn't be "fun" if you were just handed info..Mwuahhahaha..so Good luck..

I forgot to mention its a S5

 

Turbo to na drive shaft or full tii dtrain.

If you're doing s4 car to s5 engine be ready for more headaches.

 

The S5 N/A harness can be used to go TII with an S5 TII engine.
Check out Rotary Resurrection (hit TECH) and there is some good info in there.

If you can grab a T2 diff too, that would be a good addition. Don't know if you could reuse the driveshafts or if you would also need those

 

Drive shafts are specific to the Swap..N/A to N/A..TII to TII.Unless you buy or custom make a drive shaft to go between the trans and "other" diff.

AGAIN this swap has been done more often than Kim Kardashian has been Body waxed,..so the Many threads just need to be opened to obtain the info!

 

The t2 engine uses a different driveshaft than the NA one, Mazdatrix offer a custom driveshaft for sale.

 

To add to the above post, for the price of the Mazdatrix Dshaft, you can probably get a TII diff and Axles.
